Yesterday, we finally closed on our new home in Mebane, NC.  This post has been written for local folks at our church (Calvary Chapel in Chapel Hill, NC) who would like to help us move.  Directions, dates, and contact data is all contained in a package that will be available at church on Sunday, June 25, 2006.  We plan on moving on Tuesday, June 27, 2006 and Wednesday, June 28, 2006.

I read a very inspirational devotional today that applies very well to our family, especially Lucy and I.  We consider ourselves "diamonds in rough" of sort for various reasons.  And when we say "diamonds" we are not talking about our view of ourselves, but the view of God for us.  Furthermore, when we say "rough" we are talking about our perception by society in general.

Before Lucy & I go to the doctor about Kari, we thought we might do a little research about what is happenning with her left eye.  It has increasingly showing signs of crossing inward and we are getting concerned.  It seems that she might have amblyopia (lazy eye) in this eye.

So when does it take 13 hours to travel only 360 miles?  When you are travelling from North Carolina to Maryland and you have to drive through Washington D.C.

Here is what a local paper wrote about James Martell.  His company Net Guides Publishing is the model for the publishing business I am creating.  Evaluseek Publishing uses many of the same techniques to build the business as taught by their manual, but we also build our sites a little differently.  We basically took all of the good tips provided by them and improved upon them while adding our own unique style of business.

Our very own vampire princess Jasmine at halloween!  She really shocked a lot of parents in my father-in-laws neighborhood where we went trick-or-treating this year.  Very unorthordox costume, but very creative on her part.  I didn’t think of it.  It was the genius of Jasmine’s imagination.  I just did the makeup job for her.
